Privacy Policy

This policy applies to janellpeterson.us, the website of Janell Peterson, a licensed Texas REALTOR® affiliated with Zest Realty. Privacy questions go to [email protected] or 210-264-9797.

The site serves people considering a home in the San Antonio, New Braunfels, and Hill Country area. A signed representation or listing agreement, if you and Janell enter one later, is a separate document.

The contact form collects:

• First name and last name
• Mobile number
• Email address
• Whether you are buying, selling, relocating, or exploring
• Any note you choose to write
• The time of the submission and that it came from this site

Janell uses that information to reply, including by text or phone at the mobile number you provide, and to follow up on the conversation you asked for. The form is for that conversation. It is not a mailing list. Your carrier’s message and data rates can apply to texts.

Phone, text, and email links open your own phone or mail app. This site can record that a link was used. It does not record what you say on the call, in the text, or in the email.

Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-6G16RY9PZQ) loads after the page is ready. Google receives the pages you view, a browser and device type, an approximate location, and a cookie identifier used to count visits. The site also sends a custom event when you use Call, Email, or Text, and when the contact form is sent successfully. Those events include where the button was (for example, the footer) or the form name. They do not include the message you typed.

A chat button from LeadConnector (HighLevel) loads on each page. If you open it and send a message, LeadConnector receives what you type, including any name, email, or phone you enter, so Janell can reply. Nothing from the chat is sent until you send a message. You can ignore the button.

A scheduling page on this site shows a LeadConnector calendar. If you pick a time and enter your name and contact details, LeadConnector receives them so Janell can confirm the conversation. Choosing a time does not hire Janell.

The site is hosted as static files on DreamHost. The host may keep technical logs, such as an IP address, browser type, and the page requested, to operate and protect the site.

Intro and tour videos stay on YouTube. The page shows a preview first. When you press play, the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com, and Google may then collect information under its own privacy policy.

Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook links leave this site. Those services apply their own policies. This site does not place their tracking pixels.

The digital business card can download a contact file or show a QR code for this page. Saving the contact stores it on your device. The site does not receive a notice that you saved it.

Personal information from this site is not sold, and it is not shared for advertising.

• Form delivery. The contact form is posted to a delivery service at workflow.alamotechllc.net so the message can reach Janell. People who help her answer client messages can read it for that purpose.
• LeadConnector (HighLevel). Chat messages and scheduling details go there so Janell can read and reply.
• Google. Analytics data goes to Google. YouTube receives data if you play a video.
• DreamHost. Technical logs stay with the host as part of serving the site.
• Zest Realty. If you later work with Janell under a brokerage agreement, information needed for that work may be kept in the brokerage file.

Google Analytics uses cookies, including one named _ga, to tell browsers apart. This site does not set advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, and you can use Google’s Analytics opt-out. Measurement of page visits will be less complete if you do.

YouTube may set cookies only after you press play.

The chat widget may set a cookie so an open conversation stays available as you move between pages. That cookie is not used for advertising.

Inquiry messages are kept long enough to respond and to continue the conversation you started, including a client relationship if one begins. Email [email protected] to ask for deletion of a message that is still only a website inquiry.

Google keeps Analytics data according to the retention setting on that Analytics property. Host logs follow the host’s ordinary rotation.

Email [email protected], or call or text 210-264-9797, to ask what inquiry information is on file, to correct it, or to delete a website inquiry. You can refuse cookies as described above. Playing a video is optional. You can ignore the chat button; a chat message is sent only if you type one and send it.

This site is written for adults making housing decisions. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Use of the site is also covered by the Terms.
